Life is Too Short

Life is too short to waste.

This is well worth 3 minutes of your time…

I have always felt that life is too precious to live without passion.

We are here to make connections, help people, create beautiful things, challenge ourselves, help others (did I say that already?)….and the long list of other things  you feel are important.

When we don’t live each moment of our lives to the fullest…we waste that time.

Now, I don’t mean you have to be curing cancer all day long (unless that is your passion)  but    you should be doing what you love.

Don’t get stuck where you don’t want to be.

For me “where I want to be” is creating things.  I was going to say “beautiful things” but some of them may not turn out beautiful….but the creation is still a journey…and I learn every time I make something.

If you don’t like where you are… change it!

My brother did just that.  He was working for a company that wanted him to transfer to another operation…a job he did not want to be involved with…  So he decided to live a dream and stepped out on his own as a custom furniture and cabinet maker.  He started small.  But instantly earned awards and accolades for his work.  He has an eye for style and wood selection.  And now, 10 years later, he is living the dream, instead of working at a job he did not want.

Go look at what he does…  You can see his work here

And on facebook here

But he is doing it!  And living it!   Not wasting away at something he does not like to do.

And so can you!

Life is too precious to waste

Go out an make something beautiful,

Climb a mountain (a real one or whatever the mountain is to you)

Find the love of your life.

Work at a job you love

Or just read that book next to your bed!
