I have been gone to the great state of Georgia for a large part of the summer, caring for a sick father in law. Being kept out of the studio for weeks at a time was tough on my creative drive.
It is amazing how much I miss “making things”. But the work in GA. was a labor of love and exactly where I needed to be, so no regrets.
Well, I am back and spending time in the studio has been great. Everything I left on the table was still there. No cleanup fairies came in and finished or cleaned. Oh well, I will just have to do it for myself.
I did get a shipment from the laser cutter early this week and I am now off running.
A box full of work to be done and ideas to develope.
